Rugby Lifting Blocks are specially designed to assist in the lift of players during a rugby match

Lightweight blocks of foam that mould to the contours of the front of the thigh

When secured to the thigh with strapping, Rugby Lifting Blocks create a ridge to provide excellent grip for lifting

EAB is the recommended tape to use to secure to thigh area

Lineout Setup:

The team that is throwing in the ball (usually the team in possession) lines up in a vertical formation to compete for the ball. The player who is going to be lifted (the jumper) stands in the middle or at the front of the line.

Lifters:

These are the players on the team who will lift the jumper. The lifters position themselves alongside or in front of the jumper.

Blocking Players:

The blocking players are teammates of the jumper who will position themselves between the jumper and the opposing team. Their goal is to obstruct or shield the opponents from reaching the jumper. The blockers use their body to position themselves in the way of the opposition, preventing them from leaping or competing for the ball.

Lifting:

The lifters work in tandem with the jumper to lift them into the air. The lifters should time the lift perfectly to ensure the jumper is elevated safely and efficiently, while the blockers do their part by stopping the opposition from interfering with the lift.
